ObjectivesTo improve crime data collection techniques, standards, analysis, and dissemination methods across criminal justice jurisdictions. To enhance capacity in urban communities to better understand crime and to improve criminal justice and anti-crime efforts through improved data-driven planning, assessment and evaluation of criminal justice issues. This is expected to facilitate timely and accurate decision-making on a wide range of crime issues that affect federal, state, and local crime analysis and prevention policies. |
